Terms of Use

Last updated: June 17, 2026

By accessing and using Zamcalc - whether through our website or our mobile apps for Android and iOS - you agree to the following terms. Zamcalc is operated by Zamcalc Technologies, a registered Zambian company. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Use of the platform

Zamcalc is a free, publicly available platform. You may use the calculators, tools, and content for personal, educational, or business reference purposes. You may not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the platform in a way that degrades performance for other users.

Accuracy and reliance

Zamcalc results are estimates based on publicly available rates. They are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind - express or implied. You acknowledge that results may not reflect your exact tax liability, bill, fee, or other financial figure. You are responsible for verifying results independently before making financial decisions. See our Disclaimer for full details.

Advertising and purchases

Our mobile app is supported by ads served through Google's advertising services. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or for any website or product they link to. You may be offered the option to watch an ad in exchange for temporarily removing ads - this is entirely optional and is not a purchase. Any paid features we may offer in future (for example, a one-time upgrade to remove ads) are sold and processed through the relevant app store's billing system (Google Play or the App Store) and are subject to that store's terms in addition to these.

Intellectual property

The Zamcalc name, logo, design, and original content are the property of Zamcalc Technologies. The underlying tax rates, tariff bands, and regulatory data are sourced from public Zambian authorities and are not claimed as proprietary. Zamcalc is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official channel of any government authority, regulator, utility, or service provider whose rates or fees it references.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zamcalc Technologies and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to financial losses, missed deadlines, or incorrect filings based on calculator results.

Availability

Zamcalc is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, and any dispute arising from your use of Zamcalc is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Zambian courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Zamcalc after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
